What Is Blended Kratom?
Blended kratom refers to kratom powder made by combining two or more varieties, colors, regions, or other batches of Mitragyna speciosa leaf.
Kratom blends are popular among experienced customers because combining different leaf profiles can produce a product with characteristics that differ from either component on its own.
Slow-Mo Hippo is an example of a two-variety kratom blend, combining:
- White Horned Kratom
- Red Horned Kratom
The result is a unique product for customers who prefer exploring blended kratom rather than limiting themselves to traditional single-variety powders.
What Is Horned Kratom?
Horned Kratom refers to kratom leaves that develop distinctive pointed or “horn-like” extensions along the edges of their leaves. These physical characteristics have historically led kratom enthusiasts and vendors to describe certain leaves as “Horned” varieties.
Horned kratom may be available in different color designations, including Red Horned Kratom, White Horned Kratom, and Green Horned Kratom. These color names generally describe how the leaves are categorized, harvested, or processed rather than representing completely different plant species.
Horned kratom has developed a following among kratom enthusiasts looking for less-common varieties and distinctive leaf profiles.

Happy Hippo Kratom is harvested from mature, alkaloid-rich, pesticide-free Mitragyna Speciosa trees in small batches.
Our products are 100% unadulterated botanical specimens.
Every Kratom batch is:
- Pre-sterilized to kill pathogens and maintain alkaloid profile.
- Independently 3rd party lab tested.
- Free from additives and inferior botanical fillers.
Horned Kratom is named for the specific shape of its leaf.
- Where most kratom leaves grow into a broad elliptical shape, Horned kratom forms barbed edges at the end of each of their secondary veins, giving the leaf a serrated, "horned" appearance.
- Horned Kratom doesn't grow on separate trees. Instead, these leaves grow intermingled with regular kratom leaves.
- Some speculate the rare leaf shape is an evolutionary adaptation in trees growing outside of the rainforests.
- Because the leaves have a unique alkaloid profile, they are separated from the regular leaves when harvested.
