The addition of "Zen Green Hippo" (Green Sumatra) brings Happy Hippo's Sumatra collection to a total of 3 different strains!

In all honesty, Puddles Hippo is a little biased when it comes to the Sumatra strains because they tend to resonate the absolute best for him.

Green Sumatra wasn't any different! The outstanding green alkaloids bring acute energy, but it also gives off amazing cheerful vibes.

Within the Kratom community, Green Sumatra Kratom Powder is uncommon, but distinctly known for its wonderful discomfort relief properties and the clean, non-jittery energy boost.

Sumatra Kratom

Sumatra is a large Indonesian island which houses a prolific farming community.

The island is the largest coffee producer in all Indonesia, which also makes it the perfect place to grow kratom.
Sumatra strains are thought to be among the most potent of kratom strains, with mitragynine levels that can reach as high as 18mg/gram.
The people of Sumatra have used kratom for hundreds of years as a way to relieve physical discomfort and maintain energy levels while performing physical labor.

Sumatra Kratom Effects

Sumatra kratom is most associated with balanced effects offering a mood boost, a joyful outlook, and a creative mind.

Green Vein Kratom

Once a Kratom leaf reaches its peak maturity, the veins of the leaf turn a dark green color.

This green coloration comes from a pigment called chlorophyll.
The purpose of chlorophyll is to convert carbon dioxide and water into glucose to nourish the Kratom tree. This process is known as photosynthesis.
When the chlorophyll concentration has peaked in the Kratom, it signifies the stage of a Green vein Kratom leaf that has reached its prime maturity.

There is an abundance of testimonials from the Kratom community that state green vein Kratom provides more balanced effects.

They state the effects of this Kratom leaf fall somewhere in the middle of the white and red vein varieties.
Since that stage is the middle step of growth, there might be some truth to the argument.
