Where most kratom leaves grow into a broad elliptical shape, Horned kratom forms barbed edges at the end of each of their secondary veins, giving the leaf a serrated, "horned" appearance.
Horned Kratom doesn't grow on separate trees. Instead, these leaves grow intermingled with regular kratom leaves.
Some speculate the rare leaf shape is an evolutionary adaptation in trees growing outside of the rainforests.
