At Happy Hippo, we believe fast, reliable shipping is one of the most important parts of providing an exceptional customer experience. After all, when you place an order, you want it delivered quickly, safely, and without surprises.

That's why we've spent years refining our shipping process to ensure your Kratom products arrive as efficiently as possible.

While our shipping policies may evolve as we continue to improve, this guide outlines everything you need to know about shipping with Happy Hippo today.

What Shipping Options Does Happy Hippo Offer?

Currently, all Happy Hippo orders are shipped through USPS. 

USPS First-Class Mail

Our most affordable shipping option. 

Estimated Delivery Time: 3–7 Business Days

Cost: Flat Rate of $3.97

USPS Priority Mail

For customers who need their order a little faster.

Estimated Delivery Time: Typically 2–4 Business Days

Delivery times may vary depending on location and USPS operations.

USPS Priority Mail Express

Our fastest available shipping method.

Estimated Delivery Time: Typically 2-3 Business Days

Ideal for customers who need their order as quickly as possible.

Same-Day Shipping 

Our rockstar Fulfillment Team works hard every day to get orders out as quickly and carefully as possible.

To qualify for Same-Day Shipping:

  • Place your order before 11 AM MST on business days

  • Ensure your payment is completed and confirmed

Special Notes for Certain Payment Methods:

Mobile Check, ACH, and Bitcoin/Ethereum/Solana may be delayed because our team must process these orders manually. We recommend placing orders with our Credit Card processor for the quickest ship-out experience.


When Same-Day Shipping Doesn’t Apply:

  • Holidays

  • Saturdays and Sundays

  • Unconfirmed payments by 11 AM MST

  • First-time ACH/eCheck payments (we hold to verify funds)

  • Very high volume days (we’re only human!)

We do our best to ship every single package on time, but sometimes, life happens. Whether it’s a sick teammate or a broken printer, unexpected hiccups can cause a delay. We appreciate your understanding!

Shipping Confirmation & Tracking Emails

Once your package has been scanned by USPS, you'll receive a shipping confirmation email containing your tracking number.

In some cases, tracking emails may not arrive until the morning after an order ships.

If you haven't received a tracking email by then, simply contact our support team at help@happyhippo.com, and we'll be happy to assist you.

Lost Package? Here’s What to Do

It’s rare, but sometimes, packages go missing. The most common issue is a tracking status that says “Delivered” when the package is nowhere to be found.

Here’s what to do if this happens:

  1. Check Around Your Property
    Drivers often tuck packages in discreet places, such as behind a plant or near a side door.

  2. Be Patient
    Sometimes drivers scan packages early. Your delivery might still be on its way... even if it’s marked as “Delivered.”

  3. Ask Your Neighbors
    Occasionally, packages are dropped off at the wrong house. Check with neighbors just in case.

  4. Still Missing? File a Claim

    • If you purchased the SavedBy Package Protection, submit a claim with SavedBy.

    • If you didn’t use package protection, file a claim directly with your shipping carrier:

Important: Some carriers require a waiting period before filing a claim. Be sure to read their claim policies.

Will You Reship My Lost Package?

Absolutely. If you’ve followed the steps above and your package is still lost, we’ll make it right. We’ll never tell you “too bad, so sad”. That’s just not how we roll.

To Qualify for a Reshipment:

  • Show us proof you filed a claim (screenshot, email, claim number, etc.)

  • Wait at least 10 days after the ship date before requesting a replacement (to make sure the original doesn’t show up late)

Why We Don't Use FedEx or UPS

Many customers ask why Happy Hippo ships exclusively through USPS.

The short answer is that we used to offer shipping through FedEx and UPS.

Over time, both carriers chose to discontinue working with many Kratom companies because Kratom remains an FDA-unapproved product. As private companies, they have the right to determine which products and industries they wish to support, and we respect their decision.

While losing those shipping options was certainly disappointing, we've worked closely with USPS to continue providing reliable and affordable shipping services for our customers across the United States.

Today, USPS remains a dependable shipping partner, enabling us to deliver Happy Hippo products quickly and efficiently while maintaining the level of service our customers expect.

Final Thoughts

Shipping might seem like just a small part of the Kratom experience, but to us, it’s huge. We’re committed to getting your Happy Hippo order to you safely, quickly, and with as little stress as possible.
